Off the bucket list: 300SL

I drove it today. Very, VERY comfortable. I cannot believe that Mercedes, even in the '50s, had the same feeling of ergonomic "rightness" I find in the W123 and W124. Note my loyal Newport next to the roadster. My advice? Unless you have unlimited funds, get a 190SL, save yourself a bunch of money, and cruise happy! The 190SL is not as fast, but by today's standards, both cars are antiquated –yet VERY reliable.
